Children

We believe that children are a gift from the LORD and an integral part of our Church Family!  We incorporate Object Lessons, Sunday School, service projects, etc during our times of worship to  embrace and teach our children the truths of God's Word.

Women

Every woman desires friends who will walk with her through life's joys and sorrows. We are ready to join you on that journey. Our Bible Studies, fellowship, and service projects will help you develop deeper relationships with Jesus Christ and other women.

Places for Women to Connect:

  • Bible Study - Wednesday @ 1:30pm at Joyce Midgett's home.
  • Bible Study - Thursday  @ 1:30pm at the church. If you want to get involved with this Bible study, contact Betty @ 403-646-3014. All ladies are welcome!

Men

Everyday the world bombards men with mixed messages about success, relationships, and happiness. Now, more than ever, it takes grit to be the kind of man God wants us to be. We are here to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with you as we pursue God's design for manhood.

Connecting Points for Men:

  • Men's Breakfast - Every other Saturday at the church @ 9am. This is a great time of devotion and fellowship for all men! Contact Pastor Jeff @ 403-652-8700 or check out the calendar for upcoming dates.
  • Men's Tuesday Night Meeting - every Tuesday at 7:00pm at the church.
  • Men's Prayer & Bible Study - every Wed aft at the church @ 1:30pm.

Worship

Worship is something we can do individually, but God places special importance on believers worshiping together. To encourage unity in worship, our services are "blended." This means that services include traditional and contemporary music. Our congregation spans a range of ages and musical tastes. Some are in jeans, others in suits. But all are committed to joyfully worshiping Jesus together.

The purpose of worship at our church is not just about the music and about what takes place within the musical aspect of worship. It's about living a life of worship 24/7 - at our jobs, our relationship world, our financial world, the way we spend our time AND the communion of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Romans 12: 1-2 . . ."I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all He has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice - the kind He will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship Him."-

Prayer

"Do not worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done."

Phil 4:6-7

You can participate in Group prayer on Sundays from 9:30am-10:15am. We will pray for our church and for Christians and nations around the world. Prayer is conversational & voluntary; you can pray out loud or silently.

If you have a prayer request, please call Helga at (403) 646-2822 or nantonchurchofchrist@gmail.com. Our prayer chain will be praying for your requests immediately.

Missions

In Habakkuk 1:5, the Lord says . . ."Look around at the nations; look and be amazed! For I am doing something in your own day, something you wouldn't believe even if someone told you about it."

God is always working to extend the message of His salvation to the ends of the earth. Graciously, He has allowed Nanton Church of Christ to participate with Him in this mission. The church has been a solid presence in overseas missions for years.
